Drumming is a wonderful way to relax and unwind and has a centering and healing effect on the mind and body.  Rhythm is all around us, and what a better way than to make it yourself!

 

Cara Amirah has over 10 years drumming experience and originally started Native American drumming with Lynne and Annie at the ‘Flowering Tree’ in Belper.  Since then Cara has studied Egyptian Rhythms and set up her first Community Egyptian Drumming Circle in 2004.  Cara hosts regular drumming circles in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire.  Cara teaches Egyptian Drumming at many venues, including Centerparcs Holiday Village, Sherwood Forest, UK.

 

 

EGYPTIAN DRUM WORKSHOPS & TUITION

Egyptian Drumming workshops are great fun for all!  Learn many different Egyptian Rhythms & even have a go at playing Finger Cymbals.  Learn fun techniques and a mini performance piece. We have two Drum Workshop Leaders, Cara and Andie, to book either contact Cara on 0797 4299958.

 

 

DRUM CIRCLES

At the Heart of the Circle is Cara’s Community Drumming Circles, an informal fun community workshop which are held regularly which includes all styles of drumming including Egyptian.
